It
is best to keep the three babies in the same room.
Cribs: ideally each baby has his own crib and bedding sets.
Get fitted crib sheets, which are more practical. If possible,
choose cotton sheets.
It is important to have a comfortable place to breast or
bottle-feed. Think about, perhaps, a sofa or a nanny’s
bed (so that more than one baby can be fed at a time), and
a small table.
Lights with a dimmer switch are best. If this is not possible,
a dimly lit table lamp or corridor lights can be used late
at night.
Get fleece and wool blankets.
Changing table: you can get only one. Two is best when you
have someone to help you.
The babies’ bedroom must be airy, easy to clean and
to walk around. You will make more room by displacing the
cribs in “U” shape.
Avoid carpets, cloth curtains and stuffed animals in the
room, especially during the first year.
