It is perfectly feasible to leave home with triplets. Keep two things in mind: practicality and flexibility.

Triplets obviously call a lot of attention. Relax because you will be asked a lot of questions, and sometimes they will be extremely personal. However, people’s intention is usually positive. Be proud. They are your children

Visiting relatives / friends
If these visits are frequent, whenever possible, think about leaving a supply of diapers, powdered milk, feeding bottles, pacifiers and some clothes in these houses. Therefore, it is easy to leave home, since you do not have to take too many things with you, besides the babies.

In the car
Turn the car into your second home. Have diapers, wipes, toys (books or a CD / cassette of children’s songs), purified water and feeding bottles in the car. When the babies are older, you may take cookies and juice. Children are unpredictable, just like traffic.
Infant car seats are essential for the babies’ safety and, according to government regulations, they must be place in the back seat. Since the beginning, each baby should have his own chair so that they will not argue over this when they are older!

Car trips
If you are going on a long trip, leave home around the time the babies fall asleep, or preferably, at night. If they are awake, you will have to make a lot of stops along the way and there will be inevitable delay.

Airplane trips:
First step: as you book your trip, make it crystal clear that you are traveling with three babies - and triplets! This will prevent many mishaps, such as not being able to book adjacent seats, from occurring.
Up to 2 years of age, the child is regarded as a lap child and travels for free. As a rule, an adult can have only one lap child. If there are not three adults, the airline requires that a flight attendant accompany the third lap child, but this service is charged. In some flights, the airlines allow the third baby to travel without the flight attendant if you purchase his ticket.
The seat arrangement depends on the number of oxygen masks in each row. Since there is usually one extra mask per row, according to federal regulations, there can be only two lap children per row. Therefore, you must sit in different rows when traveling with triplets.
Try to relax and be flexible when traveling by plane. The babies will probably cry, and you do not want to bother the other passengers. Changing diapers in the lavatory is out of question, such is the mess after a few minutes of flight. Having experience in changing diapers show that, in moments like these, we can change them wherever we are. The feeding bottles will be cold even after the flight attendant has heated them, usually in low heat. And even if the plastic bottle is hot, that does not necessarily mean that the milk is hot. Or the meals you requested are not available, so remember to take some bread, cookies and toys with you!

Hotels
Some hotels will not accept 3 children in the same room with their parents. This being the case, remember to book rooms with a connecting door. As you are booking the rooms, check if three cribs / beds will be available. Almost all the hotels which usually welcome families offer a kitchen fit up for preparing feeding bottles or meals. Hiring a babysitter is a good idea if you want to have a romantic dinner, for example.

Restaurants
AVOID THEM!
Restaurants are not the best choice if the babies are not old enough to sit in a baby’s high chair and entertain themselves with some food or a toy. Undoubtedly, you will not be able to keep them quiet, and then, what was supposed to be fun will turn into a nightmare.
Start teaching them to sit, eat and only play after the meal is over in family restaurants.
